Caribenas de Caracas (6-2) defeated Pastoras de Lara (4-2) for the second straight time in Caracas, D.C., 72-53, to take a commanding lead in the standings of Venezuela's Superliga Femenina de Baloncesto (SLFB) 2024.

Caribenas stopped an undefeated streak of four games for Pastoras, a team coached by Daniel Queralez.

Hillary Perez (169-SF-1995) netted 12 points and Yolimar Martinez (184-C-1995) completed an impressive double double with 10 points and 19 rebounds for Pastoras, while Ivonny Seijas (2006) supported them with 9 points, 5 rebounds and a couple of assists.

Meanwhile, the second game between Gaiteras del Zulia and Indias de Miranda in Maracaibo was suspended and will take place at a date to be announced soon, due to an international karate tournament that took place at the venue, Pedro Elias Belisario Aponte Arena.
