SPB 2024 - Jalen Jones (ex Roanne) signs at Spartans

Jalen Jones

Spartans de Distrito Capital Caracas (SPB) landed 31-year old American ex-international 201cm swingman Jalen Jones (college: Texas A&M). Jones played most recently at Chorale de Roanne Basket in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 9 games he averaged 11.3ppg and 3.6rpg last season.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016. Jones was a member of USA Senior National Team in 2020.
He is a very experienced player. Jones has played also professionally in Israel (Hapoel Haifa), Italy (Openjobmetis Varese), Romania (Cluj Napoca), Spain (Baskonia), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards), Poland (Enea Zastal), France (Cholet Basket and JL Bourg), NBA G League (Texas Legends, Maine Celtics, Cleveland Charge, Greensboro Swarm and Capital City Go-Go) and NBA Summer League (Philadelphia 76ers).
Among many awards he won Romanian League championship title in 2023. He was voted to Reese's NCAA D1 All-Star Game back in 2016.
Jones graduated from Texas A&M University in 2016 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball. He played also for Southern Methodist University for 3 years.
