SPB 2024 - Lenin Lopez is back at Cocodrilos via draft

Cocodrilos de Caracas (SPB) added to their roster 33-year old ex-international forward Lenin Lopez (198cm-1991), thanks to the SPB 2024 Playoff Draft. It is actually his comeback to Caracas as he has played here before. Lopez played this summer at Centauros in Venezuelan SPB league. In 17 games just recently he had 6.4ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2spg. He also played for Gaiteros that season where in four SPB games he recorded 3.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.5apg and 1.0spg. Lopez was a member of Venezuelan Senior National Team back in 2014.
He is quite experienced player. Lopez has played also professionally in Chile (Puente Alto), Venezuela (Trotamundos, Guaros, Lanceros, Yaracuyanos and Aduaneros), Bolivia (Penarol and Atenas), Ecuador (Juvenil) and Mexico (Toros). He won Venezuelan SLB championship title in 2020 and 2022. Lopez was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LNB Honorable Mention back in 2016 and 2017.
