SPB 2024 - Gladiadores draft Windi Graterol

Windi Graterol

Defending champion Gladiadores de Anzoategui (SPB) agreed terms with experienced 37-year old international center Windi Graterol (204cm-1986, agency: Pro Sports) to draft him for the 2024 playoffs. Graterol played this summer at Panteras. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year. In 24 SPB games just recently he had 10.5ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg. Graterol also played for Halcones de Ciudad Obregon in Mexican CIBACOPA where in 24 games he recorded 9.3ppg and 7.5rpg.
He also represented Venezuela at the Panamerican Games in Santiago (Chile) last year. His team won Silver.
Graterol is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Argentina (Boca and Olimpico), Brazil (Brasilia), Colombia (Cimarrones), Puerto Rico (Capitanes), Uruguay (Goes and Bigua), Chile (Concepcion), Venezuela (Cocodrilos, Guaiqueries, Marinos, Guaros and Espartanos) and Dominican Republic (Metros). Graterol won Venezuelan LPB championship title in 2010 and 2013. He was voted to Latinbasket.com Venezuelan LPB All-Defensive Team back in 2012 and 2014.
Graterol is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Gladiadores.
