The best player for the winners was American center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. The former international guard Pedro Chourio (196-1990) chipped in 20 points. Four Guaiqueries players scored in double figures. American Shabazz Muhammad (198-1992, college: UCLA) produced 25 points and Bulgarian-American point guard Dee Bost (189-1989, college: MSU) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
