Venezuela celebrate U15 South American Championship title

Venezuela have been crowned the U15 South American champions. They defeated Brazil in the Final on Monday. Julio Vasquez scored 15 points to lead the winners.
Venezuela posted a 13-9 lead after ten minutes. They extended the margin at 8-point mark at the interval 29-21. Brazil sank 23 points in the third period to pull within 4 points at the final break. But Venezuela held their opponents to just 14 points in the fourth period and raced to the win. Gregori Gavidia netted 12 points and issued 7 assists for Venezuela. Victor Santos responded with 14 points for Brazil.
