SPB 2025 - Hollis Thompson (ex Al Nasr) joins Trotamundos

Trotamundos de Carabobo (SPB) added to their roster 33-year old American small forward Hollis Thompson (203cm-96kg-1991, college: Georgetown). Thompson just played at Al Nasr in Libyan D1 league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
Thompson is quite experienced player. Thompson's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eleven different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Thompson has played previously professionally in Germany (Hakro Merlins), Greece (Olympiacos), Italy (Mantova), Mexico (Soles), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli), USA, NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Philadelphia 76ers, OKC Thunder and Sacramento Kings), Dominican Republic (Caneros), NBA G League (Austin Spurs, NAZ Suns and Stockton Kings), Big3 (3's Company and Ball Hogs) and NBA Summer League (Sacramento Kings).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team made it to the Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Fahed Cup Final Four in 2024. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com Saudi Arabian SBL All-Imports Team in 2024.
Thompson graduated from Georgetown University in 2012 and it is his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player.
