Reed number one in Venezuela SPB for round 22 (by Hoops Agents)

American Willie Reed (211-C/F-1990, agency: Diamond Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Cocodrilos de Caracas, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 22.
The 34-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Marinos (#2, 10-6) with 25-point margin 91-66. Cocodrilos maintains the 8th position in Venezuelan SPB. Cocodrilos is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-9 record. Reed just recently signed at Cocodrilos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Saint Louis University star has very solid stats this year. Reed is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 9.9rpg) and averages impressive 1.8bpg and 55.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Delwan Graham (200-F-1988, agency: Interperformances) of Llaneros de Guarico. Graham had a very good evening with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Llaneros lost that game 80-88 to the higher-ranked Toros (#11, 6-9). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Llaneros is still at the dead bottom 14th position. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Llaneros managed to get this year. Graham is one of the most experienced players at Llaneros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Francisco Centeno (203-F/C-1985) of Guaiqueries de Margarita (#10). Centeno scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was a key player of Guaiqueries, leading his team to a 85-78 win against the higher-ranked Spartans (#3, 10-6). The chances of Guaiqueries ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 7 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Centeno could help Guaiqueries to bring them higher in the standings. Centeno has a very solid season. In 12 games in Venezuela he scored 8.5ppg. He also has 5.8rpg and a FGP of 59.0%.
