33-year old American point guard Will Cherry (185-PG-1991, agency: Diamond Sports) had a great game in the last round for Cocodrilos de Caracas and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 24.
He had the game-high 31 points adding eight rebounds and seven assists for Cocodrilos in his team's victory, helping them to beat Gladiadores (#7, 8-8) 97-92. Thanks to this victory Cocodrilos moved-up to the 9th position in Venezuelan league. Cocodrilos is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-9 record. In the team's last game Cherry had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Cocodrilos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Will Cherry averages this season 14.7ppg and 4.2apg.

Second best performed player last round was Feron Hunt (203-F-1999) of Gladiadores de Anzoategui. He is American forward in his first season at Gladiadores. In the last game Hunt recorded an impressive 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Gladiadores lost that game 92-97 to slightly lower-ranked Cocodrilos (#9, 8-9). This loss caused Gladiadores to drop to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 8-8 record is not bad and everything may still change. Hunt is one of the most experienced players at Gladiadores and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Juan Suero (196-G-1993) of Piratas de la Guaira (#6). Suero showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Piratas, leading his team to a 84-78 win against the higher-ranked Spartans (#3, 10-7). Piratas needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 6 lost games. Suero has a great season in Venezuela. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.8ppg (best scorer) and assists with 4.2apg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ra'shad James (185-G-1990) of Piratas - 24 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
