SPB 2025 - Tyler Wilkerson is a newcomer at Spartans

Tyler Wilkerson

Spartans de Distrito Capital Caracas (SPB) added to their roster experienced 36-year old American forward Tyler Wilkerson (203cm-109kg-1988, college: Marshall). Wilkerson played last summer at Cocodrilos. In four SPB games in Venezuela he recorded 12.3ppg and 2.8rpg. He also played for Broncos that season where in 28 SPB games he averaged impressive 17.7ppg and 4.6rpg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SPB Honorable Mention.
Wilkerson has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Wilkerson's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in ten different countries. Wilkerson has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), China (Guizhou and Shaanxi), Israel, Korea (Egis), Philippines (Beermen), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros, Gallitos and Piratas), Tunisia (US Monastir), United Arab Emirates (Shabab Al Ahli and Al Sharjah), NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Delaware Blue Coats) and The Basketball Tournament (Team KBC). His team won UAE League Regular Season in 2018 and 2020. He was selected to Asia-Basket.com Chinese NBL All-Imports Team back in 2014 and 2015.
He graduated from Marshall University in 2010 and it will be his 16th (!!!) season as a professional player.
