Reed's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

34-year old American Willie Reed (211-C/F-1990, agency: Diamond Sports) had a great game in the last round for Cocodrilos de Caracas and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 34.
He had a double-double of 33 points and 13 rebounds, while his team edged out Piratas (#8, 11-10) 90-88. Cocodrilos maintains the 6th position in Venezuelan league. Cocodrilos is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-11 record. In the team's last game Reed had a remarkable 84.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Cocodrilos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Third place about best performers goes to Rakim Brown (198-SF-1991) of Toros de Aragua (#11). Brown scored 29 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was a key player of Toros, leading his team to a 92-88 win against the higher-ranked Pioneros (#2, 15-8). The chances of Toros ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 14 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Brown could help Toros to bring them higher in the standings. Brown has a very solid season. In 24 games in Venezuela he scored 16.3ppg. He also has 6.3rpg, a FGP of 50.6% and 3PT: 41.4%.
