SPB 2025 - Marinos welcome back Steve Taylor Jr. for the Super 4

It is actually his comeback to Puerto La Cruz as he has played here before. Taylor played this summer at Spartans in the SPB. In 20 games just recently he averaged 12.9ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.0apg. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in fifteen different countries playing on five different continents. Taylor is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, Australian and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Australia (Phoenix), Bahrain (Al-Manama), Canada (Honey Badgers), France (JDA Dijon), Hungary (Szombathely), Indonesia (Borneo), Israel (Next Urban Maccabi Haifa), Italy (RO Eurobasket and Rieti), Philippines (Painters), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli), Turkey (Duzce), Dominican Republic (Reales), The Basketball Tournament (Broad Street B. and Team DRC) and Mongolia (Bizon).
Among many awards he played in the final of Balkan League in 2022. Taylor was also selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Indonesian IBL Center of the Year in 2024.
He graduated from University of Toledo in 2017 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. Taylor played also for Marquette University for 3 years.
