SPB 2026 - Gaiteros welcome back Warren, ex Soles

Defending champion Gaiteros de Zulia (SPB) signed 30-year-old American 196cm swingman Micheal Warren (college: CSUN). It marks his return to Maracaibo, where he previously played. Warren played for Soles in the Mexican LNBP last summer, averaging 10.4ppg, 3.3rpg, and 1.5apg in 15 games, helping them secure the regular season title.
Warren has traveled extensively during his pro career, playing on three continents (Europe, Latin America, and North America). He has played for teams in the Dominican Republic (Cupes and Reales) and Spain (Zamora). In 2025, Warren won the Venezuelan SPB championship title and was voted to the Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SPB Honorable Mention team.
Warren graduated from California State University Northridge in 2018 and is entering his ninth season in pro basketball.
