There was no surprise when 5th ranked Ottos (4-6) were defeated on the road by second ranked Stingerz (9-1) 85-80 on Thursday. Stingerz forced 27 Ottos turnovers and had a 31-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Keroi Lee who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Devorn Benjamin (182-1995) who added 14 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Warren Bogle responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists and Lincoln Weekes scored 31 points and 4 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stingerz have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-1 record behind leader Potters S. Loser Ottos keep the fifth place with six games lost.
