No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Quimsa (3-1) crushed bottom-ranked Espanola (0-4) in San Vicente 95-52 on Tuesday. Quimsa made 30-of-35 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game, while Espanola only scored fourteen points from the stripe. They outrebounded Espanola 42-29 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Quimsa looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Espanola's players. Espanola was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for the former international power forward Celia Fiorotto (186-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds. Ayelen Boujon replied with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Rocio Estrada added 7 points and 4 assists in the effort for Espanola. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Quimsa have a solid three-game winning streak.
