The game between closely ranked teams ended with thirteenth ranked Colon SF's (4-9) road victory over 14th ranked Independiente (1-11) 80-49 on Saturday. Colon SF dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Independiente's 22. Colon SF forced 20 Independiente turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard DMonta Harris (196-97, college: Midwestern St.) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds.
