There was a minor upset in Juninense where leader GELP (5-3) was defeated by fourth ranked Ciclista (3-5) 95-77 on Friday. Ciclista made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was swingman Manuel Lambrisca (192-97) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Valentin Costa (182-99, agency: BIG) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Ciclista players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Carlos Gianella (181) who recorded 15 points and Yago Sanchez (195-99) added 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively.
