Regular Season Round 3: Regatas - Comunicaciones 65-71

No shocking result in a game when Comunicaciones (4-0) beat Regatas (3-2) in Corrientes 71-65 on Friday. It was an exceptional evening for Santiago Barrales (189-98) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Francisco Llanos (182-2) accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. Fabio Gauto (190-2) came up with 21 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Tobias Franchela (185-1) added 17 points and 4 steals respectively for Regatas in the defeat. Comunicaciones will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Regatas will play against Obras (#11) and hope to secure a win.
