Everything went according to plan in La Banda where fourth ranked Instituto (5-1) won against 17th ranked Olimpico (1-5) 83-74 on Saturday. Instituto forced 20 Olimpico turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Point guard Lautaro Urquiza (177-1) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners and Juan Frontera chipped in 15 points, 10 assists and 4 steals. Guard David Perez (188-0) responded with 27 points and 9 rebounds and guard Leon Luna (183-2) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Olimpico's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Instituto. They maintain fourth place with 5-1 record. Olimpico lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eighteenth position with five games lost. They share it with Quimsa.
