Regular Season Round 38: Rocamora - Lanus 82-69

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 13th ranked Lanus (3-8) lost on the road to fourteenth ranked Rocamora (4-8) 82-69 on Thursday. Forward Juan Martin Bello (200-99) notched 20 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and guard Manuel Gomez (183-96) supported him with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Rocamora players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Pablo Bruna (185-87) did not help to save the game for Lanus. Center Sebastian Chaine (201-86) added 10 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Lanus' coach Leonardo Costa rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rocamora moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Bahia. Lanus lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. Rocamora will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lanus will play against Parque Sur (#10) in Concepcion de Urug. and hope to secure a win.
