Regular Season Round 39: Villa Mitre - Pergamino 93-73

Pergamino (#5) was upset in Bahia Blanca by eighth ranked Villa Mitre 93-73. They made 22-of-29 charity shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Villa Mitre players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Pergamino was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Ramiro Heinrich (204-87) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Federico Harina (186-91) accounted for 24 points (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) for the winning side. Four Villa Mitre players scored in double figures. American-Peruvian power forward Khalil Fuller (203-95, college: CSUSM) came up with 10 points and 8 rebounds and Colombian forward Soren De Luque (196-98) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Pergamino in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Villa Mitre (7-7) moved-up to seventh place. Newly promoted Pergamino keeps the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Racing. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
