We should mention about the upset which took place in Mar del Plata, where higher ranked Zarate Basket (7-5) lost to fifteenth ranked Quilmes MP (4-10) in a road game 71-76. Quilmes MP dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Zarate Basket's 24. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Alex Negrete (192-1) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Lucio Castellani (196-94) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Quilmes MP's coach Manuel Gelpi allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
