There was a small surprise in Formosa where fifteenth ranked La Union (9-12) beat 12th ranked Union (11-18) 90-72 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was Marcos Gonzalez (197-2000) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Juan Medina (184-2005) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Lorenzo Micheloni (195-2001) who recorded 20 points and 9 rebounds and Jeronimo Muller (183-2002) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. La Union moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Argentino. Union lost eighth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
