Regular Season Round 29: Ferro - Instituto 70-86

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Instituto's (18-12) road victory over 5th ranked Ferro (17-12) 86-70 on Saturday. Instituto made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. The best player for the winners was international Martin Cuello (193-1993) who scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Nicolas Copello (193-1992) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Instituto players scored in double figures. Swingman Jonatan Torresi (190-1994) produced 17 points and point guard Juan Laterza (180-1997) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Instituto maintains fourth place with 18-12 record. Loser Ferro dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. Instituto will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ferro will play against San Lorenzo (#13) in Almagro and hope to secure a win.
