Everything went according to plan in La Rioja where first ranked Quimsa (21-5) beat 12th ranked Riachuelo LR (13-15) 88-84 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Juan Brussino (185-1991) who scored 22 points and 9 assists. American power forward Eric Anderson (204-1993, college: New Haven, agency: Duran International) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Quimsa players scored in double figures. Quimsa's coach Sebastian Gonzalez used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
