Regular Season Round 30: Comunicaciones - Regatas 82-86

There was no surprise in Mercedes where 15th ranked Comunicaciones (10-19) was defeated by eighth ranked Regatas (17-13) 86-82 on Monday. Regatas outrebounded Comunicaciones 49-36 including 17 on the offensive glass. The former international point guard Marco Giordano (183-2000) scored 24 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Skyler Hogan (196-1997, college: SEMO, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Trahson Burrell (201-1992, college: Memphis) with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Alejandro Diez (201-1987) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Regatas moved-up to seventh place. Loser Comunicaciones keeps the fifteenth position with 19 games lost. Regatas will meet at home San Lorenzo (#13) in the next round where they are favorite. Comunicaciones will play against San Martin and hope to secure a win.
