No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Atenas (19-18) beat 15th ranked Riachuelo LR (14-22) in La Rioja 88-83 on Wednesday. Atenas made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Strangely Riachuelo LR outrebounded Atenas 49-36 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Ignacio Segura (195-2000) who scored that evening 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Matias Stanic (185-2005) supported him with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Four Atenas players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 8 rebounds by guard Mateo Corso (185-2004) did not help to save the game for Riachuelo LR.
