The game had a very big importance for fifth-ranked Echague as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Liga Argentina. Echague defeated bottom-ranked Jachal in Parana 83-66. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Federico Gonzalez (183-1988) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Lisandro Ruiz Moreno (185-1989) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Echague's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Nicolas Gimenez (203-1994) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds and guard Jorge Mas Delfino (194-1997) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Jachal. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Jachal at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. Jachal will play next round against Colon SF trying to get back on the winning streak. Echague will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
