There was an upset when higher ranked Pergamino (3-3) was edged at home by twelfth ranked Lanus (2-1) 75-73 on Monday. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Lucas Gorosterrazu (197-1998, agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 26 points. Power forward Santiago Bruera (206-1998, college: FAU, agency: BIG) accounted for 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Lanus' coach Sebastian Saborido used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Federico Gobetti (192-1999) came up with 22 points and 5 rebounds and Carlos Baez (-1993) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Pergamino in the defeat. Four Pergamino players scored in double figures. Lanus moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Parque Sur and Tucuman. Loser Pergamino keeps the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with GELP. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
