Regular Season Round 9: Quimsa - La Union 64-59
Date: November 15, 2022
There was no surprise in Santiago del Estero where 19th ranked La Union (1-9) was defeated by second ranked Quimsa (7-2) 64-59. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a good game for swingman Diego Collomb (192-2004) who led his team to a victory with 18 points. Romeo Amprimo contributed with 16 points for the winners. Swingman Jose Campoya (195-2002) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Agustin Sigel (165-2002) added 15 points in the effort for La Union. Quimsa have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-2 record behind leader Instituto. La Union lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the nineteenth position with nine games lost. Quimsa will play against league's leader Instituto in Cordoba in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
