Regular Season Round 5: Union Florida - Ferro 57-50

There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Union Florida (2-4) beat at home higher ranked Ferro Carril (2-4) 57-50 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was forward Camila Saravia (171-1998) who scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Center Victoria Michel (182-2003) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Union Florida players scored in double figures. Pilar Carra produced 9 points and 8 rebounds and forward Tamara Pinto (183-1999) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Union Florida moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Ferro Carril and La Banda. Ferro Carril lost fourth consecutive game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
