Important game to mention about took place in Olivia. Ninth ranked Independ.O. (6-2) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 15th ranked Olimpico (4-7) 73-72 on Sunday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It was a good game for forward Matias Bernan (196-2001) who saved his team from a defeat with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Tomas Ramallo (178-2001) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Independ.O. players scored in double figures. Independ.O.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Sahir Abdala (185-2005) answered with 29 points and 4 assists and Carlos Hurtado added 6 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Olimpico. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Independ.O.. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Regatas. Olimpico at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Platense. Independ.O. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Olimpico will play at home against Atenas (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
