An interesting game took place in Buenos Aires where higher ranked Boca Jrs (7-5) was upset on its own court by nineteenth ranked Comunicaciones (5-10) 67-42. Comunicaciones outrebounded Boca Jrs 39-28 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Agustin Passone (180-2003) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and forward Marcos Panozzo (195) accounted for 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. Forward Santino Romegialli (204-2003) came up with 6 points and 8 rebounds and Nicolas Stenta (200-2004) added 11 points respectively for Boca Jrs in the defeat. Boca Jrs' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Comunicaciones moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with San Lorenzo. Boca Jrs at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Comunicaciones will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Boca Jrs will play on the road against Riachuelo LR (#14) in La Rioja and hopes to get back on the winning track.
