We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Mercedes where 17th ranked Union (5-11) was defeated by eighteenth ranked Comunicaciones (6-11) 62-53 on Tuesday. Brazilian forward Gabriel Lopes (206-2003) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and forward Marcos Panozzo (195) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Lucas Peralta (-2005) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and guard Matias Cagliero (187-2005) scored 19 points.
