Very expected game when 14th ranked Platense (8-12) lost to sixth ranked Penarol (11-6) in Florida 17-22 on Friday. Penarol shot 64.3 percent from the field. Forward Nicolas Chiaraviglio (199-2004) nailed 8 points for the winning side and Franco Vinciguerra (186-2002) accounted for 5 points. Santino Mazzucchelli came up with 8 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and point guard Juan Frigerio (170-2003) added 4 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Platense in the defeat. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Penarol. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Independ.O. Loser Platense keeps the fourteenth position with 12 games lost.
