Regular Season Round 32: Barrio Parque - Villa S.Martin 96-91
Date: February 10, 2023
No shocking result in a game when third ranked Barrio Parque (18-4) beat 10th ranked Villa S.Martin (10-13) in Cordoba 96-91 on Friday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Barrio Parque looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by point guard Nahuel Buchaillot (178-2000) who scored that evening 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Federico Pedano (194-2000) supported him with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 21 points and 6 assists by Ramiro Frontera did not help to save the game for Villa S.Martin. Point guard Milton Vittar (185-1991) added 15 points for the guests. Four Barrio Parque and five Villa S.Martin players scored in double figures. Villa S.Martin's coach Gaston Castro rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Barrio Parque have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Racing. Loser Villa S.Martin dropped to the ninth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with La Union. Barrio Parque will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Villa S.Martin will play against Sarmiento R. (#17) in Chaco and hope to secure a win.
