LDD top team - Obera (24-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Platense (11-15) 78-54. Obera dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Platense's 24. They outrebounded Platense 35-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Gonzalo Pryszczuk (193-2001) who scored that evening 17 points and 5 rebounds and forward Maximiliano Acevedo (203-2004) supported him with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) by Santino Mazzucchelli did not help to save the game for Platense. Agustin Hayden added 12 points and 5 rebounds. Obera have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 24-3 record. Platense at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 15 games lost. Obera will play against Argentino (#18) in Junin in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Platense will play at home against Union (#17) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
