There was no surprise in La Rioja where 15th ranked San Lorenzo (12-17) was defeated by sixth ranked Riachuelo LR (18-12) 65-57. It was a very good performance for Venezuelan forward Keiver Marcano (201-2003) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Mateo Corso (185-2003) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Riachuelo LR's coach Pablo Rodrigo Pereyro used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Lucas Latorre (183-2002) replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Thiago Roca (-2004) added 7 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for San Lorenzo. Riachuelo LR maintains sixth position with 18-12 record, which they share with Obras. San Lorenzo lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 17 games lost. Riachuelo LR will play against higher ranked Gimnasia CR (#3) in Comodoro Rivadavia in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
