Top ranked Instituto (27-6) recorded its sixth loss in Buenos Aires on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Boca (21-11) 122-115. Boca well out of reach of Instituto shooting 71.2 percent from the field and made 24-of-26 free shots (92.3 percent) during the game. Boca shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Instituto helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international Leonel Schattmann (193-1987) fired 44 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 7 assists (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international point guard Franco Balbi (188-1989) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 assists.
