Regular Season Round 44: Comunicaciones - Ferro 81-97

There was no surprise when 17th ranked Comunicaciones (10-27) lost to fifteenth ranked Ferro (16-21) in Mercedes 81-97. Comunicaciones was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Tomas Spano (183-1998) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Lucas Gargallo (196-1995) who added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Ferro players scored in double figures. American forward Will Vorhees (203-1995, college: NDC) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Germain Jordan (198-1986, college: Dillard) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ferro maintains fifteenth position with 16-21 record. Comunicaciones at the other side keeps the seventeenth place with 27 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
