Very expected game in Buenos Aires where 19th ranked Union SF (8-29) was crushed by sixth ranked Boca (23-13) 92-71. Boca dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Union SF's 30. They outrebounded Union SF 45-26 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Boca players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international Marcos Mata (202-1986) nailed 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and the former international point guard Franco Balbi (188-1989) accounted for 10 points and 10 rebounds. Four Boca players scored in double figures.
