But Quimsa was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from La Banda 67-64 on Friday night. Strangely Quimsa outrebounded Olimpico 52-37 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Maria Introcaso nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and Stefania Lucero accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Olimpico players scored in double figures. Melina Niz came up with 17 points and 9 rebounds and forward Angelina Giacone (181-2005) added 16 points respectively for Quimsa in the defeat. Quimsa's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olimpico will meet Montmartre in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Quimsa will play against Riachuelo LR in La Rioja and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
