We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Santiado del Estero where Riachuelo LR was defeated by Quimsa 62-51 on Sunday. Quimsa outrebounded Riachuelo LR 46-32 including 36 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was center Andrea Ledesma (182-1996) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Sofia Cabrera (167-1997) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Quimsa's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Maria Gervasio produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Ornella Santelli added 8 points respectively for the guests. Quimsa will meet Instituto in the next round. Riachuelo LR will play against Montmartre and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
