Regular Season Round 2: Platense - Union 65-101

There was a minor upset in Florida where Platense was rolled over by Union 101-65 on Wednesday. Union dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Platense's 32. Estanislao Crespi had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Francisco Alonso chipped in 18 points during the contest. Five Union players scored in double figures. Santino Mazzucchelli responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and Manuel Jara scored 14 points. Platense's coach Alejandro Perez gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
