Regular Season Round 4: Penarol - Obras 89-106

Obras has registered their first victory this season after one consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Mar del Plata, where they defeated Penarol (1-3) 106-89. Obras players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by Chilean point guard Felipe Inyaco (192-2002) who scored that evening 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Armenian-American guard Andre Spight (190-1995, college: N.Colorado, agency: Helping Ballers) supported him with 17 points. Even 19 points and 6 rebounds by the former international Tomas Monacchi (198-1997) did not help to save the game for Penarol. Forward Octavio Sarmiento (198-2001) added 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for lost side. Four Penarol players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Obras (1-1) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place. Penarol at the other side dropped to the seventeenth position with three games lost. They share it with Zarate. Obras will play against Argentino (#19) in Junin in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Penarol will have a break next round.
