Not a big story in a game in La Rioja where bottom-ranked Olimpico (0-3) was rolled over by seventh ranked Riachuelo LR (3-1) 108-78 on Friday. Riachuelo LR dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpico's 38. They outrebounded Olimpico 47-35 including 38 on the defensive glass. Colombian forward Yustin Llerena (195-2002) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Fabricio Diaz chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Coach Pablo Rodrigo Pereyro's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. Guard Santiago Perez (188-2002) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds and Facundo Rodriguez added 21 points respectively for lost side. Four Olimpico players scored in double figures. Riachuelo LR have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Ferro and Obera. Loser Olimpico still closes the standings with three games lost. Riachuelo LR will meet Regatas (#15) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Olimpico will play against Penarol and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
