Regular Season Round 5: Montmartre - Olimpico 62-54

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Olimpico (4-3) against sixth ranked Montmartre (2-6) on Sunday night. Visiting Olimpico was defeated by Montmartre in a tough game in Catamarca 54-62. Paraguayan forward Paloma Niz (175-1999) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and power forward Debora Coli (180-2001) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds. Maria Introcaso came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Ecuadorian Erika Calderon (178-1991) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Olimpico in the defeat. Montmartre moved-up to fifth place. Loser Olimpico keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Quimsa. Montmartre will meet at home Instituto (#6) in the next round. Olimpico will play against Quimsa (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
