Regular Season Round 11: San Martin - Olimpico 61-68

Olimpico has finally registered their first victory this season after ten consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Corrientes, where they defeated San Martin (1-11) 68-61. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Agustin Stancampiano (182-2004) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Ignacio Gonzalez (187-2003) accounted for 14 points for the winning side. Center Lorenzo Benay (203-2004) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Franco Alegre (176-2003) added 17 points respectively for San Martin in the defeat. San Martin's coach Diego Blanco rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olimpico (1-10) left bottom position moving up to nineteenth place. It was San Martin's eleventh loss in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 11 games lost. Olimpico will play against league's second-placed Ferro in Buenos Aires in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Martin will have a break next round.
