No shocking result in a game in Bahia Blanca where sixth rankedVilla Mitre (10-7) defeated 16th ranked U.Mar del Plata (5-12) 78-69 on Tuesday. Point guard Jano Martinez (180-2003) had a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Franco Pennacchiotti (205-1990) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds during the contest (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Four Villa Mitre players scored in double figures. Juan Bellozas (195-1993) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Matias Carneglia (200-2002) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Villa Mitre have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 10-7 record.
