There was no surprise when 11th rankedRiachuelo (1-3) was defeated on the road by top-ranked Union Florida (4-0) 82-67 on Wednesday. Union Florida looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Carla Miculka (174-1993) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Lara Leivas (169-2001) who added 19 points during the contest. At the losing side Jacqueline Soto responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and guard Laila Raviolo (180-2000) scored 4 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Union Florida have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Obras and Ferro. Riachuelo lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with three games lost. Union Florida will meet league's second-placed Obras in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Riachuelo will have a break next round.
